GRID is Flipkart's flagship Engineering Campus Challenge, which allows you to compete and complete critical challenges using your technical knowledge and talents.

Flipkart GRID is now in its fourth edition, and it's larger and better than ever, bringing real-world problem statements from the world of E-Commerce to the world's greatest engineering minds

Team Rules & Eligibility:

•This competition is available to students in all engineering colleges in India and the United States who are pursuing B.Tech/B.E/B.S/M.Tech/M.S or comparable Engineering Programs (Batch 2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026)
•Students must register in groups of two to three people.
•The 2022 batch is ineligible to participate.
•Students from any speciality are eligible to compete in this tournament.
•They should be full-time engineering students from the same college.
•A person cannot be a member of more than one team at the same time.
•Any deviation from the above will result in the entire team being disqualified immediately.

Stages:

Before the National Finale, when the Finalists will present their ideas to a Panel of Domain Experts at Flipkart, the Software Development Track will include two to three elimination levels to test your technical, analytical, and ideation skills.

Level 1: Technology & E-Commerce Quiz

•An online quiz will be required of all registered teams.

•The quiz will be given only by the team leader.

•During the quiz window, all teams will take the quiz at the same time.

•Every team will be scored based on accuracy (score) and speed (finish time), which means that if two teams have the same score, the team that finishes first will be ranked higher.

• Based on their results in this examination, participating teams will advance to the next phase.

•It will be based on E-Commerce Trivia (https://stories.flipkart.com) and Technology Trivia.
(Introduction to Technology + Techstack & Computer Science Fundamentals)

Level 2: Proof of Concept Submission with Demo Video and Code Submission

•Level 1 shortlisted teams will be required to compete in level 2.

• Following level 1, you'll be provided a problem statement based on the domain area of interest you chose.

•Teams will only be able to work on one problem statement that has been assigned to them.

•You can submit until the deadline for this level at any point during the challenge window.

•The functional proof of concept, as well as the demo video and code submission, will be required at this level.

•Based on their performance, the teams in this level will advance to the next level.

The National Finale (Level 3): Finalists compete on the GRID's final level.

Attractive prizes to be won along with the opportunity to be a part of the hiring process for Tech Internships & Full-Time Roles (Internship Stipend: INR 1,00,000 per month; SDE-1 Role Compensation: INR 32.57 LPA)

•Winners get EGVS worth INR 1,50,000* First Runners-Up Get EGVS worth INR 75,000*

• Top 50 teams (Level 1- Quiz) will get GRID goodies

•For international participants, the prize value would be based on the currency conversion rate prevailing at the time of prize disbursement.

Occupational Prospects:

*Top teams who qualify for stage 2 will have the opportunity to participate in the hiring process for internship and full-time tech opportunities at Flipkart.

*Teams that make it to the final receive a PPI for software.
